Buyers often ask for a “best price” without enough detail. For plate sourcing, a short but complete specification saves one or two rounds of email and helps us check mill availability realistically.
Include at minimum
- Material grade (e.g. Q345B, AH36, SA516 Gr.70, NM400)
- Standard or classification (GB, ASTM, EN, ABS/LR/DNV as applicable)
- Thickness × width × length (mm), and whether cut lengths or coil
- Quantity (tons or pieces) and delivery destination port or city
- Surface / tolerance if you have special requirements
